USS K.D.Bailey DD-713
I enjoyed serving aboard this fine lady from March 1959 to September 1960 as a Yeoman 3rd class. The Bailey was my first home away from home. Now I pay tribute to her.
USS Goodrich DD-831
U.S.S Goodrich (DD-DDR-831) Association established in 1992 to bring together all former shipmates who served our nation proudly aboard this great ship from commissioning to her last voyage in 1969.
USS N. K. Perry DD-883
The original intent in building Destroyers OnLine was simply to present pages on a few particular ships. From that small start it rapidly became apparent that a much larger purpose presented itself, an opportunity to utilize the Internet to showcase a general class of ships which fill a unique niche not only because of their small size and high speed, but also for their rich histories and varied uses.
US Benson-Livermore Class Destroyers
This website is dedicated to the sailors, engineers, and naval yard workers who gave their all with these ships to complete the final Victory in 1945. The spirit of these men and women will live on within this site and pass their history to generations to come.
Help with asbestos
Navy veterans were at risk of asbestos exposure and developing mesothelioma, a rare cancer that can take 20-50 years to develop. Our website features extensive information on asbestos and we work 1-on-1 with individuals to help them find local doctors, treatment centers and support groups all at no cost. We even have a page where one can search any Navy ship to see if it contained asbestos. We know that the USS Turner had asbestos.
